Dear EATA Members,
As I reflect upon the past year, the Thanksgiving holiday has come and gone and I am once again reminded of my many blessings. One, in particular, is being a part of this fantastic association known as the EATA’s. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with such an outstanding group of professionals on the executive board, as well as the many committee chairs. Their collective ideas have moved this association and our profession to the 21st Century. With their continued dedication, they consistently have the best interest of the association and its members in mind.
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the 64th Annual Eastern Athletic Trainers’ Association Meeting and Clinical Symposium. The EATA has a long tradition of providing its members with a quality educational program, as well as scholarships and research opportunities for students and certified members. Please join me in thanking President-Elect John Davis who has worked tirelessly on constructing the program. He has done an excellent job in providing a top notch conference for both our students and certified members. I encourage each of you to take advantage of the many workshops being offered as well. I look forward to recognizing our award winners and our student scholarship winners at the banquet on Saturday night.
